Summary: "Wanted to keep it myself!"

I bought this book as a gift. Loved the text, the illustrations, the variety of the entries, even the size of the book! I learned about some places that I would include on a future trip to the city. I think this is a fun book for a young
child and I think through the years more details will be noticed in the illustrations, so it will never be "outgrown".

This is a great book to read to children prior to visiting New York. I gave this book to my young nieces right after they moved to New York City. My daughter & I have been enjoying our own copy & are looking forward to seeing many of the sights included in the book. There are so many places to go see in New York City, & reading about them gets you even more excited about visiting.

Summary: "Great "While you're visiting NYC guide" for young visitors"

I bought this book for a six year old visitor who has the reading skills of an 8 year old. She was visiting Manhattan and used this book as a guide for herself as we took in the sites. The illustrations are charming and she was able to read the text by herself. Nice guide for the child to read while here in NYC!
